With the compostable, free-standing CompostBag® organic waste bags, you can easily do your bit for a better environment. Looking for an ecological alternative for everyday items? Then start with our compostable CompostBag®. These free-standing organic waste collection bags are completely micro-plastic-free, that way you no longer contribute to the plastic problem. The CompostBag® compostable organic waste bags are:

• made from renewable, plant-based raw materials (cardoon thistle – MaterBi raw material)
• produced locally and sustainably in Belgium (Herent)
• fully compostable (OK compost HOME) and EN13432 European-certified

Environmentally friendly and hygienic

These free-standing collection bags are strong and solidly constructed, they stand on their own and do not require a container. Our compostable CompostBag® organic waste bags are fully compostable and OK compost HOME certified. Moreover, they also comply with European regulations and are therefore EN13432 certified.

Disadvantages

– the bags have a limited shelf life as they are compostable: so be sure to use them within one year of the production date (found on the printing).

Remark

The Compost Bag Company advises against purchasing a large number of items at once. The compostable bags retain their positive qualities for 1 year after the production date and begin to degrade after that.

CompostBag® waste bags are produced in an ecological and sustainable way in Belgium at their factory in Herent: The Compost Bag Company. The bags are made from renewable, plant-based raw materials whose origins are in Italy.
